Ronald Brian "Ron" Underwood is one of the directors of Dead of Summer.
Biography[]
Life and Career[]
Underwood is a American film director, producer and television director. He was an AFS exchange student living in Ceylon which was renamed Sri Lanka. After graduating from high school he briefly attended Occidental College as a pre-med student, but transferred to the USC School of Cinema (now USC School of Cinematic Arts) after deciding to become a filmmaker. Underwood majored in cinema with a minor in anthropology.
Underwood has worked on the television series: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Boston Legal, Burn Notice, Castle, Desperate Housewives, Drop Dead Diva, Grey's Anatomy, Harry's Law, Heroes, Make It or Break It, Mistresses, Monk, Nashville, Necessary Roughness, Once Upon a Time, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, Quantico, Reaper, Resurrection, Scandal, The Glades, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Ugly Betty and Witches of East End, among others.
Underwood is also known for directing the films; Best Men, City Slickers, Heart and Souls, In the Mix, Mighty Joe Young, The Adventures of Pluto Nash, Speechless, Stealing Sinatra, Tremors and Tremors 2: Aftershocks. He has also worked on a handful of short films and televisions films such as Deck the Halls, Holiday in Handcuffs and Santa Baby films.
In 2016, Underwood directed an episode on Dead of Summer.
